So if you know the age of an observed object, the distance (parallax),
the velocity based off of observed red shift (Doppler effect) coupled
with rate of increased expansion( dark energy effect) calculated with
relative speed of light(186,000 mps ), not with standing new studies
indicating speed of light is not constant (variable), but has known
limit. You could easily come up with a "when" the observed supernova
took place.
