Reincarnation and the soul, what are your views?

Post by SolarInvictus » Sat Apr 16, 2022 7:19 am

Hello, i have being going inward.

I have been struggleing with my world view(outside politics) on a spiritual level, can someone help me out?

I was wondering what is the national socialist, and heathen/pagan view on the soul?
What is the concept of soul, afterlife in our world view?

This is also a personal question, i wan't to avoid myself going down the new age trap where alot of us get misled.

Just to be clear, we are not pagans or National Socialists per se, we are Cosmotheists. There is a lot of crossover depending on which group of pagans or National Socialists we're talking about, but it is important for you to understand that we are a distinct religion with distinct beliefs.

That said, the Cosmotheist view on souls is that there are none, certainly not in the sense that we have individual spirits or ghosts that will carry our precise memories and personalities into some otherworldly realm (or into the body of another creature) when our body dies. We simply don't believe in things like that, as our religion is based purely in the Natural world, and that makes Cosmotheism unique among religions.

Most pagans do seem to believe in such things, and that is an irreconcilable difference between us, although we are more sympathetic to their views because they are at least European in origin (unlike Christianity).

National Socialism isn't really a religion in my book, it's a political philosophy, though it is the political philosophy that Cosmotheists are most sympathetic to, and it will certainly be a model for our New Order when the time comes to implement political measures. I do consider myself to be a National Socialist in terms of my political beliefs, but I am a Cosmotheist first.

To answer your questions more in depth, I believe reincarnation, to the extent it can be considered to exist at all, is done primarily through biological reproduction, or through the passing on of genes and memes (ideas) to offspring. If I have sons and daughters, or if I have a significant impact on anyone at all in my life, then my "soul" (my name, my DNA, my ideas, my memory etc.) is "reborn" and lives on through those whose lives I've impacted, but my soul does not remain as purely "me"; in fact, even now I don't imagine that I have a truly individual soul. My soul is merely a small and inseparable part of the collective race soul of our people, and that is the soul that can be immortal, through biological reproduction and evolution.

For example, Dr. Pierce himself is gone forever, but the things he created in his life live on, namely the National Alliance and the Cosmotheist Church. In doing the great things he did, Dr. Pierce has immortalized himself through us, and those of us who are still here now take what he passed down and build upon it, add to it, and soon we will give it to our children when our time is up. That is the only kind of immortality or reincarnation we care about.

In short, we live on through our children, not because we impressed Odin with our heroic deeds and secured our pass into Valhalla to feast and drink at his table.

Thanks Riley for your anwser, this helped me alot.

It seems more rational than most "esoteric hitlerist" and "Heathens" believe in, For the matter of fact.. It already has been proven by sciense.

Genetic memory, ancestorial preference, personality of genetic reletatives.. I disliked the mumbo jumbo and the obvious new agers influencing the awakening of our species.. Healthy believes are the most important for the creation of a new future for our peoples.

Riley really hit the nail on the head, and I think he has a great understanding of the Cosmotheist worldview. I came to understand the nature of the "soul" when a friend of mine died and I saw him in his children from then on. There isn't anything spooky about it - just reality.

See, energy is an incredible thing, and the natural world around us is still something we do not entirely comprehend. Radiation in its various forms was only understood very recently in the grand scheme of things, and before that existed beyond even comprehension or imagination for most of humanity. We are just now understanding within the last 15-20 years that a healthy forest almost seems to have some rudimentary form of communication through roots systems and fungal mycelium, and science in beginning to concur with the instinct and conclusions of many of our less enlightened ancestors about the forest being a greater entity rather than simply a collection of plants.
The energy of the human body and the way it interacts with the world around us might still be lacking understanding as to its true nature. We do not know at this time, however to exclude the possibility of some "spiritual" life after death, whatever it may be and for however long it may be with absolute impunity at this time may simply be a little presumptuous.
That being said, don't bet on it, and don't rely on it, make your immortality by leaving a legacy and mark upon this earth that shall never fade, that may shape the course of human history to come, that may help us take one step closer to godhood.
