Night in, sight out:
how a spirit breathes if free of doubt,
able to see like stone and tree
what moons by rite and suns side-to-side
dream into a single beam of light.
Fabled leaves clay-clear
may speak of what they hear,
reveal to a naked mind burning
blind, twisting and root-turning
deaf to timely rune and rhyme blood-yearning
stellar seeds of Well-urned life.
Reflective water winks
as undead wind ghost-drinks,
fresh-shed flesh and bone drift
alone like broken twigs until star-swift
a cosmic heart beats--parts below and above
know what it's like to be Whole--souls in love.
