Great discussion here: https://www.stormfront.org/forum/group. ... onid=10434 Medieval Aryan asks, "Could the Aryan race be descended from Wotan (or other Gods)?" He then expounds on this mythical theory only to have James Harting put it in its place with the common sense and scientific POV of a National-Socialist or Cosmotheist thinker.

Medieval Aryan
I have been thinking, this is a good explanation for much of history. While many lesser peoples were branching away from Mesopotamia and becoming negroids and semites, the island of Thule was there in the Atlantic, and home of a great magnificent Race of human. I was thinking, could it be possible that the first Aryans were descended from Wotan (or other gods) in Thule, and later colonized it? While the other races have more primative origins (or perhaps the other races were those spoken of descendants from Jotuns in the Norse Eddas?)

James Harting
The Aryan race (Homo sapiens aryensis) is a variant of Modern Man (Homo sapiens sapiens), which is descended from Archaic Homo sapiens, which is turn is descended from Homo erectus, and so forth.
Mythology is not science and science is not mythology.
"I must insist that Rosenberg's The Myth of the Twentieth Century is not to be regarded as an expression of the official doctrine of the Party...In the first place, its title gives a completely false impression. There is, indeed, no question of confusing the conception of the Nineteenth Century with the so-called myth of the Twentieth.
"A National-Socialist should affirm that to the myth of the Nineteenth Century he opposes the faith and science of our times."
--Adolf Hitler, as recorded in the Table Talks, April 12, 1942

Hello Will,
Perhaps, James H. could help that poor "Dark Ages" SF fellow to read
"The March of the Titans" found here:
http://chechar.wordpress.com/category/m ... tans-book/
Those that "believe" that any "myths" are to be taken "literally" has
"rocks in his/her head". That would be like taking "Animal Farm" as
a true "barnyard story". "Fundamentalist" Christians, Jews, Muslims,
all have this same "thick-headed" and pathetic "primitive mentality".
Best regards,
Cosmotheist

I agree. It is all just one perpetual evolutionary cycle set into motion by the creative force that embodies the universe. Silly myths need to die.
