A Berea resident noticed stickers bearing swastikas and white nationalist phrases being placed on numerous stop signs around her neighborhood.

The resident reported the ongoing issue to Berea police July 16, according to a police report.

The resident, who lives on Gibson Street, told officer Richard P. Butler she first noticed the stop sign vandalism around June 1. The stickers read “IT’S OK TO BE WHITE.”

Other residents noticed the stickers and removed them.

On June 7, the stickers re-appeared – this time consisting of swastikas that read “National-Sozialistische-D.A.P.”

A resident put a Black Lives Matter sign at the corner of Gibson and Kraft streets in response to the anti-Semitic and racist vandalism. The Black Lives Matter sign and that stop sign’s sticker were removed by another resident “because she did not want any racial tension in front of her house,” the report said.

The Berea service department and other Berea residents removed the remaining stickers placed on the other stop signs within three days.

The stop signs on both ends of Gibson Street were vandalized again the night of July 15 with “IT’S OKAY TO BE WHITE,” “GOTT MIT UNS” with a swastika and an iron eagle, and a swastika with an iron eagle stickers.

There are no leads at this time regarding who placed the stickers, and the case remains developing, Berea Police Chief Dan Clark told the Cleveland Jewish News on July 24.

National Alliance activists do not place our stickers on road signs or on other places that are illegal or problematic. They do not place stickers anywhere with swastika symbols. The Alliance's symbol is the Life Rune.

It's obvious that Alliance activists did not place any of the stickers pictured above. Alliance activists know that it is not just OK to be White...

LAKE RIDGE, VA — Prince William County police found several stickers in a Lake Ridge neighborhood Monday, at least one of which appeared to contain recruitment information for the Ku Klux Klan, the police department said Tuesday.

The department said officers were called to investigate several suspicious stickers "depicting hate propaganda" that were found on community property in the area of Clipper Drive in Lake Ridge. A resident told police that one of the stickers appeared to contain KKK recruiting material.

The stickers were posted at random in the neighborhood between July 2 and July 13, the police said. The stickers did not contain any threats and did not appear to target anyone specific in the neighborhood, according to the police.

Anyone with information about the stickers is asked to contact the Prince William County Police Department tipline at 703-792-7000 or submit a webtip to: www.pwcgov.org/policetip.
There's no reason for the police to act as any community's Thought Police. It's simply not their job.

Stickers that appear to promote the Ku Klux Klan have been found on traffic signs and utility boxes in Arlington over the past month, Arlington police said Wednesday.

The stickers, which show five robed and hooded figures, say, “The original boys N the hood.”

They were found between July 2 and 28 in four locations, mostly in the Yorktown neighborhood, on the back of traffic signs and on a utility box.

An Arlington police official said they are investigating.
We in the NA don't vandalize property like this, although if other individuals or groups also sticker the traffic signs and utility boxes and the police are selectively investigating/enforcing violations regarding the content of the messages then it's likely legal to do so. But I still wouldn't do this.

This Washington Post article does not allow comments! Normally they do. What could they be afraid of showing?
