Now Merkel Offers Turks Asylum

NOVEMBER 10, 2016 BY TNO STAFF— IN EUROPE

Not satisfied with last year’s massive “asylum” invasion, the Angela Merkel regime has now made an unconditional offer of asylum to all Turks who claim that they have been “persecuted” by Turkey’s government following the failed coup in that country.

The offer is likely to spark off a new wave of hundreds of thousands of nonwhites claiming to be Turks flooding into Germany, just as the “asylum” offer to “Syrians” sparked off a similar invasion in 2015.

According to the Bayern Depesche newspaper in Germany, the government has “announced a generous asylum-grant for Turks who have been exposed to repressive measures by the Turkish authorities since the failed coup of July 15.”

The newspaper added that according to official figures, around 35,000 people were arrested on the orders of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the failed coup, and “tens of thousands” of others were released from the state service.

The Federal Foreign Office has now recommended the granting of “political asylum” to all “politicians, journalists, artists, and academics” affected by Erdogan’s crackdown.

It means that anybody who can buy a Turkish passport—and that country has been named as an epicenter of the fake passport manufacturing industry, especially for those claiming to be “Syrians”—can now claim asylum in Germany by saying that they “feel persecuted.”

According to Michael Roth, the Socialist Party of Germany (SPD) Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office, “All critical spirits in Turkey should know that the federal government is in solidarity with them.”

The SPD politician—who is part of Merkel’s ruling coalition—said that “Germany is a cosmopolitan country and is open to all politically persecuted persons. You can apply for asylum in Germany. This is true not only for journalists.

“What is currently happening in Turkey has nothing to do with our understanding of European values, the rule of law, democracy, and media freedom,” Roth said.

His opinion was repeated by Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party chairman of the Bundestag’s Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid, Michael Brand, who told the media that “As a matter of course political asylum seeks to be granted asylum. This basic right is anchored in our Basic Law for good reason. It would not be responsible to offer up courageous people like Dündar to Erdogan’s guillotine.”

Dündar is editor in chief of the Cumhuriyet newspaper, arrested after his newspaper published footage showing the Turkish state intelligence agency, MIT, sending weapons to ISIS in Syria. He has been sentenced to jail for “leaking secret information of the state.”

The move is likely to further exacerbate tensions between Germany and Turkey, and as a result, hasten the collapse of Merkel’s “EU-Turkey Deal” which was supposed to make Turkey halt the invasion of Europe from its shores.

Merkel’s latest move is therefore likely to reignite the 2015 invasion from Turkey, and add a further dimension to the matter by giving any “Turks” the opportunity to invade Europe as well.

Lawrence University has denied official recognition to the Students for Free Thought student group following reports that a student, who called her peers “white terrorists on training wheels," had been kicked out of an event for being disruptive. While the school won't specify who filed the "bias reports," university officials said they are investigating the incident.
The Lawrentian, Lawrence University’s student publication, reports the Students for Free Thought group on campus hosted a showing of the 2015 film “Can We Take a Joke” on May 17. The day before the event, Kimberly Barrett, the school’s vice president for Diversity and Inclusion and associate dean of the faculty, sent an email encouraging students and community members to view the film and have an “authentic discussion” over the content.
Despite the call for rational discussion, during the screening, a “heated dispute” reportedly took place among the audience members. According to the Lawrentian, one student was asked to leave for being disruptive. Barrett intervened, saying, “We have people with opposing views, let’s talk about what those views might have been, and let’s do it in a way that we’re talking one at a time.”
Attendees at the discussion after the film decried free speech.

Attendees at the discussion after the film decried free speech.

One student claimed minorities in the United States are not afforded free speech and that it is only a “privilege” for some.
The student was reported as saying, “The idea of the culture of free speech is an incredibly privileged one. The reality of our society and the systemic oppression is that people of color and women of this country aren’t allowed free speech because if they talk a certain way, bad things happen to them.”
Another student, identified as “they,” said, “Free speech exists, yes, however you have to recognize that there has been systematic oppression against certain groups of people. If you want to have these events in the future, you should talk to the people who were being attacked in the movie.”
In a letter to the editor, Sabrina Conteh, the student who was allegedly asked to leave, decried event attendees as white nationalists, white supremacists, and “white terrorists on training wheels.”
According to Conteh, the “sloppy white supremacist propaganda screening” was actually a “hotbed for rape jokes, racial and gender slurs” and propagated by “white terrorists on training wheels.” She accused free speech of supporting “white nationalist rhetoric” and said the head of the organization putting on the talk was a “head white nationalist in charge.”
A day after Conteh’s piece, Lawrence University issued a statement addressing the matter.
According to the statement by Barrett, the school received “several bias incident reports” about the incident between Conteh and the other member of the audience. The statement claims, “Each of these reports will be reviewed and acted upon,” and that the Lawrence University Community Council will take these reports into consideration when determining whether to officially recognize the Students for Free Thought.

WBAY reports the LUCC ultimately decided, shortly after the letter from Barrett, to deny recognition to the Students for Free Thought.
An email from LUCC President Lewis Berger said the group was ultimately denied recognition because the LUCC did not believe it would have a “positive impact on the Lawrence University campus” and would jeopardize the “well-being of our campus at large.”

A one-way boat ride to any African country of their choice is the only 'reparation' for those who want to claim injury due to slavery. With the way Jews are ramping up the racial hatred and tearing down all standards and institutions here in an attempt to incite a hot race war, getting out of America now might be a generous deal for Blacks.

Leftist Journal Pushes Post Claiming Book Collections 'Proliferate Whiteness' and 'Take Up Space' in Libraries

Courage.

The Cowardly Lion had it in the land of Oz.

Heart.

The Tin Man had it, even though he thought he didn’t.

Brains.

The Scarecrow had them in abundance.

And L. Frank Baum wrote 14 volumes of the Oz novels, so he must have had the brains, heart, and courage to work on them despite the labor required to write entertaining fiction.

But, according to a tweet posted by the Library Journal – one which they quietly removed, but which was captured and spread virally – book collections in libraries are somehow racist and take up needed space:

Library collections continue to promote and proliferate whiteness with their very existence and the fact that they are physically taking up space in our libraries.

Yes. They really wrote that.

And they linked to an April 15 blog post by a woman who describes herself as an “academic librarian, feminist” who “likes cats, whiskey, intersectional feminism, social justice, critical librarianship (this is getting painful) and CRT (Critical Race Theory).”

The blog post is called, “Whiteness as Collections” and the author is Sofia Leung. And, by the way, Ms. Leung was the recipient of a 2016 Association of Research Libraries scholarship, so you know her work has to be taken seriously.

In the essay, Ms. Leung argues that, as the Tweet indicated, book collections in libraries reflect “whiteness” and take up valuable space that could be used to promote progress, to open shelves to new authors who might represent more diverse skin colors, and, according to this racist notion, to provide more diverse perspectives on life and ethics.

The idea has its roots, as she admits, in the work of Cheryl Harris, who wrote a 1993 piece on “Critical Race Theory” for Harvard in which she tried to make a connection between the concept of private property and whiteness.

(Because, ya know, only white people have embraced the idea of self-ownership and not stealing from one’s neighbor… right?)

Leung made sure to quote Ms. Harris’ blindingly brilliant piece by writing:

She writes, ‘slavery as a system of property facilitated the merger of white identity and property’ (p1721) and the formation of whiteness as property required the erasure of Native peoples. Basically, white people want to stay being white because of the privilege and protection whiteness affords under the law that they created. Harris also makes this really good point, ‘whiteness and property share a common premise – a conceptual nucleus – of a right to “exclude” (1714). Bam! That really hits it on the head.

Are you feeling the head injury?

First, to assume that slavery and property ownership are synonymous is to negate the very root of private property, which is that you own yourself as an axiomatic premise. From that, the idea of working out a way that people can lay claim to space and things on the planet without coming into conflict with others takes shape, and thus, be it religiously derived by people like John Locke, or logically derived by people like Emmanuel Kant (both white, so they must have been doing it for racial reasons), or ethically derived by people like Chinese philosopher Lao Tsu (he must have been secretly white), the founder of Taoism, one arrives at... private property.

Slavery comes as a result of attacks on the concept of private ownership, not due to it, because ownership of oneself is at the heart of all property concepts.

Second, both Ms. Harris and Ms. Leung blithely overlook the logical inconsistency of their own publishing process when looked at in the larger context of their argument. If exclusion is a white racist concept, what do they say about the editing and publishing process whereby the editors of the Harvard journal had to exclude some articles in order to publish Harris’? What about Leung’s blog? By reserving a space for it on the internet, and not including anything anyone else wants in her blog post, Leung is perpetuating this terrible idea of private property and the owner’s control of it.

Using their so-called logic, such exclusion is a vestigial poison derived from white racial superiority, and must be eliminated.

If you are noticing a pattern here, you’re not alone. For Leung to facilitate her ends of making more space for minorities in libraries, and for Harris to facilitate her ends of eliminating “private property” as a valid concept, both of them use the concept of private ownership as a foundational premise – even while calling it a racist creation. By criticizing the act of “exclusion”, they engage in that very act, and validate the concept of private property as a means of managing limited resources and showing value.

The problem with Leung’s thesis is that she fails to recognize the real root of the issue in libraries.

Libraries aren’t private property.

They are publically funded and run, and, as a result, as I often note, they fall prey to the economic problem of the Tragedy of the Commons, whereby everyone is forced to pay for it, so everyone fights over shelf-space, times of operation, size, and on and on…

It’s possible that Leung has a point. Perhaps valuable shelf space is being taken up by certain kinds of books. But we all have different ideas on what those kinds might be. I might want more of my own books in libraries, or books by writers I admire. I might want more shelving devoted to political philosophy and economics, while someone else might want more of the Historical Romance genre.

In a real market, where private property is managed by real owners, those preferences can be exhibited and rise or fall based on the market for them. So some private bookstores can be filled with mostly romance (as I know from working in a bookstore for many years), or some books can be filled with mostly feminist short stories… And we can choose to buy or not.

We can… What’s the word?

EXCLUDE.

Each of us can exclude by not spending his or her money.

Public libraries, as loved as they are by the Library Journal, will always present the ethical quagmire of public funding, and essays like Leung’s criticizing book collections as “whiteness” will not solve this problem.

Only private property and real choice will.

Too bad Library Journal and Ms. Leung didn't exhibit the attributes of those Oz characters when expressing their positions. They might not have been so insulting to one's intelligence.

A Texas Couple Who Enslaved A 5-Year-Old Girl For 16 Years Has Been Sentenced To Prison

Mohamed Toure and Denise Cros-Toure forced the victim to do housework for no pay, and would beat her if it wasn't done to their liking.

A Texas couple has been sentenced to seven years in prison after they were found guilty of keeping a young Guinean woman as a slave for 16 years from the time she was a child.

According to court documents, Mohamed Toure and Denise Cros-Toure, both 58, forced the girl to take care of their home every day for the entire day, and would beat her if she didn't complete it to their liking.

The couple, who are both originally from Guinea and are lawful permanent residents of the US, grew up well-off and with servants in their homes. Toure's father was the first president of Guinea.

The victim grew up in a rural village in Guinea. When she was about 5, the couple flew her to their home in Southlake, Texas.

She was put to work in their home, where every day — starting by 7 a.m. and until late at night — she would cook, clean, and care for their children. She was not paid.

When the housework wasn't done to the couple's liking, they physically abused her. In at least one case, they beat her with an electrical cord, and once tore her earlobe by ripping out her earring.

She was verbally berated as well, being called a "slave," "whore," "dog," and "worthless." They would also threaten to send the girl — who was undocumented, spoke little English, and had no money or resources — back to Guinea.

For years, the girl would sleep on the floor of one of the children's rooms, and was not permitted to eat meals with the family. She was not sent to school, and was rarely given medical care.

She was scarcely allowed to leave the house except for occasional grocery store trips or walking the kids to school, and as punishment, was once forced to sleep alone in the park. The abuse and isolation caused her to contemplate suicide.

After 16 years, the victim, who is now in her early twenties, escaped with the help of a few people in the community who were familiar with what was being done.

Toure and Cros-Toure were convicted in January of forced labor, conspiracy to harbor an alien, and alien harboring.

On Monday, they were sentenced to seven years in prison each. They were also ordered to pay $288,620.24 in restitution.

The couple may be deported back to Guinea as a result of their sentencing.

Scott Palmer, a lawyer for Cros-Toure, told BuzzFeed News they plan to appeal the conviction. He accused the victim of lying in her testimony in order to get a visa to stay in the US.

"The Toures are paying a tremendous price for what is a wildly exaggerated story by a woman desperate to remain in this country and to find a path to citizenship, rather than return to Guinea," Palmer said.

In a Department of Justice press release, Assistant Attorney General Eric Dreiband said the couple "stole [the girl's] childhood and her labor for years, enriching themselves while leaving her with pain and an uncertain future."

US Attorney Erin Nealy Cox commended the victim for her bravery in speaking out, and the witnesses who came forward for helping end a human trafficking case.

“Forced labor trafficking cases are notoriously difficult to prosecute – in part because victims are often afraid to speak out,” Cox said. “It took tremendous courage for this young woman to share her story at trial. She was brought to this country at a young age, pressured to stay quiet, and forced to work for this family without pay for 16 years."

{Negro} COLLEGE PROF: ‘Whiteness is Terrorism’
April 24, 2019

‘All self-identified white people (no exceptions) are invested in and collude with systemic white racism/white supremacy…’

(Neil Vigdor, The Hartford Courant) A Trinity College professor whose racially charged social media posts created an uproar in 2017 is once again facing a firestorm from alumni of the Hartford liberal arts school for tweeting “Whiteness is terrorism” on Easter and referring to Barack and Michelle Obama as “white kneegrows.”

In a second tweet Sunday, Johnny Eric Williams, who is black, wrote: “All self-identified white people (no exceptions) are invested in and collude with systemic white racism/white supremacy.”

Earlier this month, the tenured sociology professor said “ ‘White’ kneegrows really need a lot of therapy and a good ‘ol ass kicking,” in a Facebook post. When asked whether he was referring to Candace Owens, the black conservative commentator and political activist, who is from Connecticut, Williams said it wasn’t just her.

“I’m referring to her other and less brazen but more insidious dangerous ‘white’ kneegrows like Barry and Michelle Obama and many other white kneegrows you encounter daily,” Williams posted.

In an emailed response, Williams said “there are many socially defined black folks who have internalized whiteness — as a way and knowing and being in the world. They like others who believe themselves to be ‘white,’ act on these ideas in ways that create and sustain systemic white racism.”

“Such whiteness internalization lead folks like Candace Owens, Barry and Michelle Obama to engage in actions and policy creations that are existential threats to humanity, particularly the racial oppressed. Thus my post denotes the urgency of exposing these individual as enemies of humanity’s well-being,” Williams said.

Williams’ latest posts recall a 2-year-old controversy, during which he took a mutually agreed upon leave of absence from Trinity because of the national attention his social media comments about race generated. An investigation by Trinity cleared Williams of any wrongdoing and determined the tweets were protected by academic freedom.

The controversial pair of Facebook posts by Williams in 2017 included an inflammatory and profane hashtag — “Let Them (expletive) Die” — that was widely shared on social and conservative media, leading to the threats against Williams and calls for him to be fired.

Trinity President Joanne Berger-Sweeney reported that the college lost $200,000 in donations due to the controversy. Sixteen incoming students also withdrew their enrollment.

At the time, Berger-Sweeney said she supported Williams’ right to express his views, but found his words personally offensive.

“They also contradict our fundamental institutional values and run counter to our efforts to bridge divides and to promote understanding, both among members of our college community and between us and members of communities beyond our own,” Berger-Sweeney said.

A Trinity spokeswoman was not immediately prepared to comment on the latest controversial tweets.

“This stuff is not for the faint-hearted,” Williams told The Hartford Courant in an interview Tuesday.

A group of Trinity graduates, commenting on the Facebook page Alumni for a Better Trinity College, condemned Williams’ remarks.

“I think he’s telling us he’s a hateful bigot,” wrote Steve Musicant, a 1985 graduate of Trinity.

Musicant told the Courant that even as a philosophy major and a liberal Democrat from Bloomfield who is the parent of a current Trinity student, he finds Williams’ comments disturbing.

“I don’t believe there’s any room for that,” said Musicant, who has been auditing classes the past two semesters at his alma mater. “He’s a bigot and I think he should be fired.”

Musicant characterized the controversy as a “black eye” for Trinity, where he said there’s an assumed progressivism because it is a liberal arts college, but is stereotypically preppie. He was not aware of Williams’ Facebook comments about the Obamas.

“He’s a piece of … ” Musicant said.

Howard Scott Nesbitt, a 1983 Trinity graduate, first posted Williams’ tweets on the Alumni for a Better Trinity College Facebook page. He said he reached out to Williams for an explanation and received a thoughtful reply from the professor.

“Absolutely nothing should happen to Professor Williams,” Nesbitt said in a text message Tuesday. “In my opinion freedom of speech, thoughts, and expression, our absolute. Although I think Twitter is not the most efficient place for this kind of in depth conversation, I do think different opinions must be welcome — and, in fact, are welcome at a liberal arts school like Trinity. Students must be encouraged to think outside their comfort zone, and to discuss, in a civil manner, differing viewpoints.”

Nesbitt said quashing a discussion about race isn’t the solution.

“Regardless of whether I personally agree or not, conversations like this must happen … (another close relative of mine went to a different New England liberal arts school, and any conversation that went away from the prevailing beliefs of most college students today was immediately shut down,” Nesbitt said. “I do not believe this is healthy for a liberal arts institution, or our country.”

Williams said he is not anti-white and that he is trying to get people to think about the oppression of African Americans, which can be a provocative topic. He said his tweets were not in response to Sunday’s deadly Easter terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka or any other specific incident.

“Whiteness breeds terrorism, the exploitation of other people’s bodies and minds for profit,” Williams said. “It’s academic freedom. That’s the role of a professor to try to help students see their complicity and collusion with white racism.”

House Minority Leader Themis Klarides, a Derby Republican, the top Republican female office holder in the Connecticut Legislature and a 1987 Trinity College graduate, blasted Williams’ social media comments.

“This is hate speech, plain and simple,” Klarides said. “It is a toxic. It is polarizing and it is not anything we need in this country, particularly in this day and age.”

Klarides said she is all for sharing dissenting viewpoints in a college setting, but that Williams has crossed a line.

“I’ve spoken to the president there. Their answer is, ‘he’s a tenured professor and free speech,’ ” Klarides said. “It’s a cycle of vicious language. You’re supposed to be shaping their lives.”

Williams said his comments are being taken out of context by those “just looking to get rid of black intellectuals” at Trinity College.

“First of all, they don’t understand what I’m talking about, which reveals their shortcoming of knowledge about white supremacy,” Williams said. “Trinity is a very hostile place. I know that many of them think a black person’s humanity is negotiable. As of now, the environment here is hostility to anyone who isn’t white and from the upper crust. All of them are not bad, but there’s a preponderance of them who try to get their way.”

Williams said he wasn’t referring to the school’s administration.

“I think this time they have my back,” he said, downplaying the loss of donations to the school. “As far as I know, there was only one person who withheld the money.”

The Obamas and Owens weren’t the only African Americans that Williams criticized.

“When I look at Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, he’s really not black,” Williams said Tuesday. “He may look black. He enforces white supremacy … ”

A military veteran, Williams said he’s experienced first hand what he’s trying to explain on social media. He said when he and his wife, who is white and Jewish, went to look for housing together in West Hartford, they were unsuccessful.

“When she goes by herself, she gets the apartment,” he said. “It’s not a matter of intent. It’s a matter of outcome.”

Institutional Racism? $90 Million Lawsuit Filed Against NYC Dept. of Ed. For Discrimination Against White Employees

It’s bad enough that educational evaluation tests, like the SATs, have included race into their scoring decisions for students. But when administrators begin to judge others based on their “toxic” whiteness, it might be time to question the actual educational value of the public school system.

New York City Department of Education’s (DOE) Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza allegedly issued a “totalitarian threat” to DOE employees that they either need to “get on board with my equity platform or leave,” according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in state supreme court.

According to the New York Post:

That “totalitarian threat” was just the most direct example of Carranza’s push to overhaul the leadership at the top and attitude throughout the DOE since he took the helm last year, claims the suit, levied against the department and Carranza by the trio of demoted white female executives[…]

Plaintiff Lois Herrera, who started at the DOE in 1986 as a guidance counselor and worked her way up to lead its Office of Safety and Youth Development, claims in the suit that she saw a sea change almost immediately after Mayor Bill de Blasio appointed Carranza in April 2018.

A month later, LaShawn Robinson, then the executive director of the DOE’s Office of Equity and Access, purportedly told white attendees of a training seminar that they “had to take a step back and yield to colleagues of color” and “recognize that values of white culture are supremacist,” Herrera heard from a fellow administrator, according to the suit.

“…values of white culture are supremacist.”

If that statement was actually said, as the lawsuit alleges, then New York’s DOE has racism problem plaguing their educational system. Take any statement referring to white people and replace it “white” with “black.” If the statement is racist while including “black” in the statement, then it’s racist the other way as well.

Racism doesn’t work one way, not anymore. People of every color shouldn’t allow such prejudice towards any race of people. Obviously, people shouldn’t get up in arms about every racial comment, especially if the comment is truly meant as a joke or as an analysis of society and/or statistics. But, straight racism — which any rational person can determine when they see or hear it — has no place in civilized society, especially an educational system.

The lawsuit also states:

Herrera learned from another senior administrator that Robinson expressed a discriminatory bias against her Caucasian colleagues on a number of occasions leading up to her promotion as Deputy Chancellor, including on or about May 4, 2018, while presenting at the "Border Crossers" training in her former role as Executive Director of the Office of Equity and Access, telling Caucasian colleagues that they "had to take a step back and yield to colleagues of Color" and "recognize that values of White culture are supremacist," as well as saying "We have all taken on Whiteness," while referring to being exposed to a society that has become toxic with Whiteness.

“Under Carranza's leadership, DOE has swiftly and irrevocably silenced, sidelined and punished plaintiffs and other Caucasian female DOE employees on the basis of their race, gender and unwillingness to accept their other colleagues' hateful stereotypes about them,” Davida S. Perry, the group’s lawyer said in the filing.

It looks as if New York’s DOE has a lot of explaining to do, which Carranza did a little of before the lawsuit was filed in an interview with CBS - New York.

“We’re going to be able to show that we hired the best people for the job through a process that was fair to everyone,” Carranza said.

U.S. Presidential Candidate Cory Booker Proposes Office to Fight White Supremacy

U.S. Senator Cory Booker on Thursday said he would create a White House office to combat white supremacy and hate crimes if elected, becoming the latest Democratic presidential candidate to call for action after a racially motivated massacre in Texas.

Booker said he would also require the FBI and the Justice Department to allocate the same level of resources and attention to white supremacist-inspired violence as they devote to international terrorism.

The New Jersey senator announced his plan less than two weeks after a gunman in El Paso, Texas, killed 22 people inside a Walmart after posting an anti-immigrant screed online that echoed some of President Donald Trump’s heated rhetoric. The attack was among three mass shootings in the span of a week that killed 34 people in all.

The incidents have roiled the presidential race, with Democrats accusing Trump, a Republican, of fomenting hatred while failing to embrace common-sense gun restrictions. Several candidates, including Senator Kamala Harris on Wednesday, have released plans to fight gun violence and white supremacy in the days since the El Paso massacre.

Trump, who has said he is not a racist, has expressed support in the wake of the shooting for “red flag” laws that limit access to guns for dangerous people and a potential expansion of background checks for gun purchases. He has not endorsed any specific legislation.

Last week, at a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, where a white supremacist gunned down nine people in 2015, Booker criticized Trump’s language while linking the El Paso shooting to the United States’ long history of racism.

“To say this is to speak the truth plainly, because with the truth there can be no reconciliation,” said Booker, who is African-American.

The proposal builds upon Booker’s sweeping anti-gun violence plan that would, among other things, establish a national licensing program for gun ownership.

Booker’s campaign likened his proposed White House Office on Hate Crimes and White Supremacist Violence to other agencies that presidents have convened to coordinate responses to major domestic crises, such as the White House Office of AIDS Policy.

Under his proposal, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies would be required to conduct assessments of white supremacist threats and improve reporting of hate crimes. Booker would also create an advisory group of leaders from communities hurt by hate crimes to advise his administration.
