Sessions is 'Too Racist' to be AG?

John Lewis think Sessions is unqualified for the job, because he would set the US back on 'civil rights'.

https://www.thenation.com/article/as-at ... il-rights/

The gist of this article: Sessions was the US Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama. He prosecuted civil-rights activist Spencer Hogue on voter-fraud charges, along with others, claiming that they had illegally helped black voters cast absentee ballots.

So basically, he did his job, prosecuting vote fraud.

He also is quoted as saying the following:
"..the NAACP and the ACLU [are] “communist-inspired” and “un-American” groups that were “trying to force civil rights down the throats of people”; addressed the first black prosecutor in Alabama as “boy” and told him “to be careful what he said to white folks”; and dubbed a white civil-rights lawyer “a disgrace to his race...”

Hmm, interesting.

What is "interesting" about this article is that it is just another smear piece authored to reinforce the concept of "throwing mud at a wall to see what sticks" as a viable propaganda tactic.

The unsubstantiated allegations of who said what were given credibility of fact by the author also when it was said " there’s little evidence that Sessions has changed."--this despite the allegation having never been proved as fact.

This is fake news being created on the spot.
