We can have some fun at WB in dedicated sections, but what's encouraged and appreciated most is ideological discussion and topical stuff, not "movement" talk and movement music. Cosmotheist is right that Resistance Records was a factor in the decline of the National Alliance. Dr. Pierce, in building a multi-media operation, originally planned to reach out to our people with other genre like Bluegrass, classical, marches, Celtic, German, Country -- all good White music -- but RR stayed in the White Power scene for the most part and couldn't get out of it. Our National Alliance is not linked at all to that White Power music era that came with Dr. Pierce's purchase of Resistance Records.

We own the rights to one cd at present: http://williamlutherpierce.blogspot.com ... -1995.html One of the songs on that is played at the end of each American Dissident Voices broadcast. The producer of Call of the Blood is Joe Pryce, a member of White Biocentrism.

We derived the name for our forum from a book Joe edited last year, here: http://www.amazon.com/Biocentric-Worldv ... wig-Klages
Indeed. Yes, "RR" was just such a factor in the decline of the NA, as the decline in "quality of the music" had
matched the decline of the "quality of the membership". If both the quality had remained very high and had it
branched out to other genres "RR" could have been as successful as National Vanguard Books in promoting NA
ideology.

"The Call of the Blood" by Dresden is excellent and it has many inspirational songs on the album and I encourage
all at WB to have a listen at the links provided by Will and to the writings of Ludwig Klages on Amazon.com here:

and also in this section in WB here:

I just love women singers. Especially ones who can express pain and emotion well and in intelligent way. I have more empathy for white female singers that do music that is actually artful and I can tell they have poured their entire soul into the music. It is not easy do. I wish there were more Hope Sandovals and Enyas, but women who can do what they do musically are rare and precious treasures, especially today. I can marvel over such women as wonderous and mystifying beings. I would rather listen to something that makes me cry than something that makes me rage. I haven't forsaken metal completely; there are few a staple metal bands I still listen to like Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour. But he and his bandmates really are extremely talented musicians and he really does write the most intelligent lyrics in rock today. Read some Slipknot and Stone Sour lyrics, and I think you will be impressed with the man's intellect. Of course he doesn't really come from a WN point of view, but I think he comes subtly close at times.

Thanks for the music, Cosmotheist. Listening to music is one of very few hobbies that I have. In case you maybe interested in the group that was the thread starter: here is one of their very best classics. One of their very early efforts from 1985, but still one of their very best. "She Sells Sanctuary". My favorite line is "the world drags me down". Yeah, it does that to me too, Ian Astbury.

You are most welcome, Benjamin. I enjoy listening to music as well although I wouldn't call it a hobby.
After just listening to them on youtube and reading the lyrics the best I can say is that I enjoyed the
opening guitar riffs the most. As far as "the world drags me down", I tend to have a stoic attitude or
I don't let it "drag me down" at all. It could always be better, but we must be the "changed within" for
us to do and to make it so. :D

Yeah, Ian is a different kind of creature. I think it takes seeing him live and in person to appreciate his greatness at what he does. He is a hell of a preformer that brings it live like very few can. He is like another Elvis Presley or Jim Morrison in a way. Speaking of which- when the surviving members of The Doors did a 2004 world tour, he filled in the role of ol' Jim.

I have tried stoic moods before, but it was all in vain. I have left behind the empty stoicism. But, now, a little something to rouse the spirits and stir the soul, because we all need it. After all, that is what truly good music does, and she's really good at doing that.
