I saw this movie as a young teen at the old Five Points theater
in Columbia. I remember being so overwhelmed by it that some
years later I bought the hardback, written in 1904 and
authored by William H. Hudson. The motion picture itself
is almost sixty years old, but is a romantic gem! It really
takes you back to a time before "political correctness"
and "gay rights." Those were good days indeed! There
are a few left in DVD on Amazon and for you diehard
videotape buffs, one in VHS! Highly recommended by
Wade! I plan to watch it again tonight! Absolutely
unforgettable!
